SAF investment is scaling across offtake and production. Google signed a SAFc agreement with American Airlines for Valero-supplied SAF at Chicago O’Hare, while Syzygy Plasmonics reserved capacity with World Fuel Services for its planned NovaSAF facilities in Latin America. JetBio advanced plans for an AtJ SAF facility in Brazil, and Twelve began commercial eSAF production for Alaska Airlines.

On feedstock and policy, Firefly partnered with Altaca to convert sewage sludge into SAF bio-crude in the UK, and HutanBio signed an MoU to develop algae-derived SAF feedstock in Oman. ARENA, Qantas, and Boeing backed several low-carbon fuel projects in Australia, and IATA and ICAO agreed to strengthen SAF tracking and reporting standards.
