Here are the latest highlights from ADI’s SAF Tracker:

  • Eco2fly signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Volotea to supply eSAF from its planned project in Spain, with offtake volumes expected to reach ~8.5 mgpy by 2035.
  • Synhelion’s planned ~10 mgpy eSAF plant in Hürth, Germany, advanced in project development by appointing Saipem as the pre-front-end engineering design (pre-FEED) contractor
  • Expander Energy selected Axens to supply Fischer-Tropsch (FT)liquid upgrading technology for its two planned biofuels facilities in Canada to convert cellulosic residues into SAF and RD.
  • Jet Zero Australia secured ~$21.6 million in funding for its planned commercial-scale SAF and RD refinery in Townsville, Queensland to support FEED study and help advance the project toward final investment decision (FID) and construction.
