In March, ADI’s SAF Tracker highlighted continued progress in SAF contracting and project development. Amex and Shell Aviation extended their SAF environmental attributes agreement with Google through the Avelia registry, while SHEIN partnered with DHL Express to incorporate SAF into international express air freight. Project development advanced with INERATEC and TERTU forming a joint venture to develop the BELair eSAF project in France, and EcoCeres launching China’s “Project Spark” closed‑loop SAF pilot. On the supply side, BP extended its carinata feedstock offtake agreement with Nufarm, while Singapore’s Civil Aviation Authority announced a delay to SAF levy implementation amid ongoing geopolitical pressures.
