In February, updates from ADI’s SAF Tracker show continued momentum in global SAF development. Trafigura signed a long‑term offtake agreement with SP Developments Uruguay to purchase SAF, while Keppel and Aster moved forward with plans to evaluate an ethanol‑to‑jet project on Jurong Island. TruAlt Bioenergy selected Honeywell’s ETJ technology for a new SAF facility in Andhra Pradesh, and SAF One also chose Honeywell’s Ecofining technology for its planned plant in India, with Tata Projects appointed as the EPC contractor.
In the U.K., the Department of Transport awarded funding through the SAF Clearing House to several innovators, and Boeing announced a collaboration with Technion – Israel Institute of Technology to develop cost‑competitive SAF from feedstocks such as green hydrogen and CO₂.
