In Europe, aviation stakeholders signed the Bodø e-SAF Declaration, reaffirming collaboration toward large-scale e-SAF deployment.
The sector saw progress in refinery expansion, technology integration, and regional investment. Bangchak Corporation announced a new SAF facility in Thailand, and Ecopetrol unveiled plans for a biorefinery in Colombia, signaling growth across Asia and South America. Additional milestones included Cosmo Oil’s first domestic SAF delivery in Japan and emerging technology ventures from FatHopes Energy and Ash Creek Renewables, reflecting continued global maturity in the SAF market.
