Global progress in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) continued in February 2025, driven by new partnerships, infrastructure growth, and policy alignment. Companies such as ENEOS, DHL, and Singapore Airlines expanded SAF supply and collaboration efforts across key markets.
The sector continued to evolve through project expansion, financing, and standardization. Boeing, Gevo, and Valero Energy advanced SAF projects in Europe and the U.S., while new funding from the European Investment Bank and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst supported e-fuels innovation. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) further reinforced progress with a new global framework for SAF emissions reporting.
