- ENEOS Corporation, Japan’s largest oil company, entered an agreement with Skymark Airlines to supply SAF from February 2025 to March 2025.
- DHL partnered with Neste to explore renewable diesel (RD) and SAF to reduce logistics emissions.
- Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group signed an memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aether Fuels to secure a five-year supply of SAF.
- Avfuel Corporation expanded its SAF distribution network with three new supply points across the U.S.
- Boeing announced a partnership with Norsk e-Fuel to develop one of Europe’s first industrial-scale Power-to-Liquids (PtL) facility in Mosjoen, Norway.
- Gevo announced $210 million acquisition of Red Trail Energy’s assets, a U.S. corn-based ethanol producer, including its ethanol plant and carbon capture assets.
- Valero Energy announced its first batch of SAF from the Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) Port Arthur facility in Texas, U.S.
- Blue Biofuels secured ~36 acres of land in Frostproof, Florida, U.S., to develop a biofuel refinery to produce SAF from king grass, a cellulosic biomass feedstock.
- Worley secured a contract with Power2X, a Dutch clean energy company, to provide engineering and project management services for it eFuels Rotterdam project in the Netherlands.
- The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst invested $73 million in Interatec, a German e-fuels company, to support the financing and further research and development of its e-fuels production plant in Frankfurt, Germany.
- The International Air Transport Association (IATA) published a standardized methodology for tracking and reporting SAF emissions reductions.
