- The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Airlines for America (A4A) announced a partnership to increase SAF availability to ~200 million gallons in California by 2035.
- Neste has signed an agreement with Air Canada to supply ~20 million gallons of SAF for use on flights from Vancouver International Airport.
- Wizz Air and Airbus announced a partnership to conduct a SAF trial to prepare for the upcoming RefuelEU aviation regulations.
- Hill Aircraft and World Fuel Services have announced an agreement to provide a consistent supply of SAF to Atlanta’s business jet operators.
- KazMunayGaz (KMG) and Axens have announced a collaboration to explore the feasibility of producing SAF in Kazakhstan.
- Mercantile & Maritime Group (MMG) has announced plans for the Middle East’s largest SAF plant at its MENA Terminals in Fujairah.
- DG Fuels has announced a partnership with the Minnesota SAF Hub for its new SAF plant at Moorhead, Minnesota, which will produce ~193 million gallons of SAF annually by 2030.
- Avfuel has announced its partnership with Valero to expand blended SAF access across the southeastern U.S. by utilizing SAF from Diamond Green Diesel.
- Alfa Laval, a Swedish technology and service provider, has signed contracts worth ~$32 million to supply HBO pre-treatment units at a new SAF and renewable diesel facility in Huelva, Spain.
- Topsoe has signed an agreement with Riograndense to provide its proprietary technologies for producing SAF and renewable diesel at the Rio Grande facility in Brazil.
- BioVeritas, a U.S.-based technology developer, announced the launching of a new SAF production process, which converts biomass into volatile fatty acids (VFAs) via HEFA processes.
