- Rotterdam The Huage Airport signed a long-term contract with Shell to blend 8% SAF for all aircrafts fueled at the airport starting 2024.
- Gulfstream Aerospace achieved its first transatlantic flight using 100% SAF from Georgia to London-area Farnborough Airport.
- Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) and Leonardo, a helicopter manufacturer, achieved its first SAF-powered rotorcraft flight in the UAE and the Middle East.
- Royal Australian Air Force’s made a public demonstration using a 30% SAF blend in their advanced training military aircrafts.
- LX Pantos, a global logistics company, became the inaugural partner of Korean Air’s new air cargo SAF program.
- Emirates announced an agreement with Shell Aviation to supply over 300 million gallons of blended SAF, starting by the end of the year.
- Macquarie, a global financial service group, announced an investment of $190 million to support SkyNRG in SAF production.
- ENOC and Neste announced a partnership to drive SAF initiatives in Dubai and MENA region.
- Breakthrough Energy Catalyst announced a $75 million equity investment to support Infinium’s e-SAF production initiative.
- Preem announced an investment of ~$533 million to convert its refinery in Lysekil to produce renewable diesel and SAF.
