  • Valery Energy Corporation and Darling Ingredients announced the final investment decision (FID) to upgrade the Port Arthur plant in Texas.
  • The first military helicopter flight with high SAF content was completed in partnership with Total Energies, Safran Helicopter Engine, and France’s Directorate General of Armaments.
  • Airlines continue making efforts to develop partnerships with producers to ensure feedstock availability for SAF production.
  • Japanese companies are expanding and reinforcing national production of SAF to decrease import and meet growing demand.
  • The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved the use of sugarcane ethanol to produce SAF at LanzaJet’s plant.
  • After Illinois, the Washington senator proposes tax incentives to support the manufacturing and use of SAF in the state.
