Raquel Orcajo Nunez is a Financial Executive. She is a former Director of Planning & Control Upstream for Repsol in the Strategy division, and she has more than 28 years of international experience in the energy sector, mainly in Oil & Gas. Previously, she was appointed as a Director, Budget & Control, a global role in Repsol Upstream, overseeing more than 20 business units (countries). She is highly experienced in the preparation of Long-Range Plans, Budgets, Investment Plans, and Portfolio Management to support the Board of Directors’ decisions. She has experience in M&A operations as she was part of the team that developed the joint venture Repsol Sinopec in Brazil. She has a proven track record of success in adding value in large-scale operations in countries like Libya, Brazil, USA, and Spain.
She is multi-lingual, speaks three languages fluently, has lived in four countries, and has successfully managed multicultural teams in challenging environments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Economics from Cantabria University.
