SAF investment is scaling across offtake and production. Delta Air Lines signed a multi-year agreement with Shell Aviation for SAF across U.S. hubs, and Axens launched France’s first industrial-scale SAF plant using its Jetanol technology. H4 Marseille Fos advanced its planned eSAF project by securing low-carbon power supply, while Acelen Renewables locked in certified soybean oil feedstock from Bunge for future SAF and renewable diesel production.
On technology and policy, Honeywell completed its acquisition of Johnson Matthey’s Catalyst Technologies business, and HAMR Energy secured government funding to advance its methanol-to-jet SAF facility in Australia. Japan announced a phased SAF mandate and passenger levy to support its blending target.
