- Amex and Shell Aviation announced a new long-term SAF environment attributes agreement with Google. This is an extension of their current agreement to source SAF environment attributes for Google through the SAF registry Avelia.
- Global e-commerce platform SHEIN partnered with DHL Express to incorporate SAF into its international express air freight operation.
- German efuels producer INERATEC formed a joint venture with France-based TERTU to develop an eSAF plant, called BELair project, in Normandy, France.
- EcoCeres launched a SAF pilot program called “Project Spark” in China that forms a closed loop SAF green value chain with support from players across the aviation value chain in China.
- BP extended its carinata biofuel feedstock offtake agreement with the Australian agricultural chemical firm Nufarm.
- The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore announced plans to delay implementation of a SAF levy due to the impact of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East on airlines and passengers.
