Here are the latest highlights from ADI’s SAF Tracker.

  • Global commodities supplier, Trafigura, signed a binding six-year offtake agreement with SP Developments Uruguay, a subsidiary of Syzygy, to purchase SAF.
  • Singapore-based Keppel signed an agreement with Aster to assess development of a ~33 million gallons per year (mgpy) ethanol-to-jet (ETJ) SAF plant on Jurong Island.
  • TruAlt Bioenergy selected Honeywell’s Ethanol-to-Jet process to produce ~26 mgpy SAF from sugar-based ethanol in the Srikakulam–Vizianagaram region in Andhra Pradesh.
  • SAF One selected Honeywell’s UOP Ecofining technology for its proposed SAF plant in India. Additionally, Tata Projects was appointed as the EPC contractor for the project.
  • U.K. Department of Transport awarded ~$250,000 in funding through the UK SAF Clearing House to four innovators including Avioxx, Clean Planet Technologies, Green Lizard Technologies, and Zero Petroleum.
  • Boeing and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology announced a project to develop cost-competitive SAF from feedstocks such as green hydrogen and CO2.
