XCF Global partnered with Impact Jets to boost sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) use in private aviation, while FedEx expanded SAF adoption at key U.S. airports. Aether Fuels and Aster are developing a SAF facility in Singapore, and Eni, PETRONAS, and Euglena began building a biorefinery in Malaysia. Fluor secured a design contract for LanzaJet’s UK project, and JC Chemical plans a used cooking oil processing plant in Malaysia to support SAF production.
Samsung E&A will design DG Fuels’ large-scale e-SAF project in Louisiana, and Topsoe will supply technology for NXTClean Fuels’ Oregon facility. Neela Biotech received funding to advance waste-to-SAF technology, while Singapore introduced a SAF levy and created a dedicated company to manage procurement and compliance. These efforts highlight a global push to scale SAF across aviation.
