At the 2025 ADI Forum, Brad Childers, CEO & President, Archrock, presented the keynote address on Oil & Gas day. He started by highlighting Archrock’s solid financial results, crediting it to a strong market and their effective operations. This allowed them to consistently increase dividends for investors while keeping their debt at a healthy level. They were optimistic about the future of natural gas demand. Specifically, they predicted significant growth due to increased LNG exports and the new demand for data centers. A key argument made was that using more natural gas produced in the U.S. and exporting it can help lower global CO2 emissions. This occurred by replacing dirtier fuels such as coal.
Childers discussed Archrock’s proactive approach to reducing emissions. This included investments in electric compression by acquiring TOPS. Additionally, they utilized Ecotech’s technology for better methane leak detection and repair. They also supported the development of Ionata’s CO2 capture technology. These investments showed Archrock’s commitment to environmental responsibility. They aimed to ensure the long-term viability of natural gas as a crucial energy source.
