Meanwhile, distribution was undergoing a digital transformation to meet OEM demands for consistent global supply, aligning with strategies for polyolefin multinational expansion. Distributors aimed to integrate digital systems with suppliers and used AI to streamline sales and support. Consolidation, fueled by private equity and risk management goals, was reshaping the sector, although regulatory attention on market concentration was projected to grow.
