During the LNG markets panel at the 2019 ADI Forum, ADI’s annual oil and gas conference, Linda Berndt, Vice President, Eagle LNG Partners, and James Reddinger, CEO, Stabilis Energy, provided insights on the LNG supply landscape, moderated by Uday Turaga, CEO, ADI Analytics. The experts discussed which of the many energy projects in development were likely to proceed, the evolving supply landscape, financing trends, and investment challenges in the sector. They addressed whether the market was reaching critical mass or was still saturated with unfunded projects, how investor interest had changed since the early 2010s, and what the industry needed to attract significant capital from midstream and industrial gas investors. While the market had eliminated many conceptual projects, achieving a stable financing model remained a significant challenge.
