January 19, 2017 – ADI Analytics presented an elaborate report on the overview of LPG markets at the 2017 Argus LPG Conference. The report assessed trade flows, imports and exports, and demand by end use segments.

Four important messages were presented which focused on LPG demand outlook. First, emerging market GDP growth which has been experiencing slower than expected growth, leading to a slower demand too. Second, despite slower demand growth, LPG production in the U.S. is strong. Third, the U.S. has also increased exports. Lastly, due to the decrease in LPG pricing from the spread between U.S. and Middle Eastern LPG, Asian buyers have swerved towards shorter contracts and spot markets.
