Report: Baseline Lifecycle Economics of Engineered Geothermal Systems 2013
$9,500.00ADI Analytics was supported by the U.S. Department of Energy to conduct an in-depth assessment of the capital costs of advanced geothermal energy technologies, in particular Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS).
Specific objectives included an assessment of the major cost drivers; evaluation of market, supply, and demand economics for capital costs; estimation of capital cost implications of innovation by forecasting technology evolution profiles based on patent analytics and analysis of R&D efforts around the major EGS (or analogous) components; exploration of emerging technology and process configurations around EGS and their impact on capital costs; and development of R&D road maps and investment and policy recommendations. Three detailed reports from this project are now available for purchase.
