ADI assessed the feasibility of a small-scale LNG plant to serve markets in the U.S. Northeast. ADI was able to add value through the following contributions:
- Estimated demand for LNG in power, residential and commercial heating, and industrial markets
- Forecasted gas supply scenarios into the U.S. Northeast via pipelines and LNG imports atĀ Everett, Northeast Gateway, and Neptune facilities in the U.S. and the Saint John terminal in Canada
- Assessed costs and economics of LNG imports including DES costs in multiple price scenarios
- Estimated capital, operating, and breakeven costs of LNG supply via a small-scale LNG facility
- Surveyed the competitive landscape to identify new LNG projects and suppliers
- Identified key risks and strategic implications for small-scale LNG project developers
- Recommended investment opportunities and return improvement options for the project
