April 2021- As part of the UBS Energy Transition Series webinars, ADI Analytics presented on the 'Role of Small-Scale LNG in the Energy Transition.' The conference call addressed key insights into energy transition including the role of natural gas, which helps with the goals of global decarbonization and air quality improvement across various scales.
ADI continued to discuss the small-scale LNG segments that would most benefit from decarbonization and policies aimed towards this goal such as marine, trucking, and industrial sectors. The presentation then highlighted which countries show the most promising opportunities within the segments along with hotspots for small-scale LNG demand.
Using prior experience in assessments on global supply/demand, business strategy, and new technologies for LNG, ADI predicts future innovations for small-scale LNG which has already encouraged wide interest in various small-scale applications globally. ADI Analytics has a wide range of expertise in small-scale LNG, presented through our annually published reports covering competitive analysis of compressor markets. Moreover, ADI constantly updates it's several databases covering global assets, pricing, costs, economics, and contractual structures in the natural gas and LNG markets.
