November 15, 2012- ADI Analytics was invited to take part in the Penn State Extension's November webinar series which focused on the past and future uses of natural gas. On this week’s episode, ADI Analytics answered questions around, 'Analyzing Options for Monetizing the Shale Gas Resource.' Along with providing an overview of natural gas production and demand, CEO of ADI, Uday Turaga presented the research conducted by ADI for the future uses of natural gas along with options for utilization, conversion, and monetization.
Key messages discussed included power generation continuing to consume volumes of natural gas caused by coal-fired power plant retirements, natural gas conversion to liquid fuels being challenged by high capital costs, LNG exports showing the best economic returns for monetizing natural gas, and natural gas vehicles showing limited option of natural gas due to challenges within market adoption.
