November 12, 2020- The Energy Trading Risk Summit USA was held virtually over November 11-13. The conference, produced by Alpha Insight and the CCRO, invited guest speakers to discuss a variety of topics with the goal of navigating changing market conditions and understanding the latest tools and technologies to mitigate future risks.
ADI Analytics presented its research in a talk titled, 'Oil & Gas in a Slow Recovery.' Key messages included talking about how oil supply has fallen with price, although research is pointing to better days ahead. Other key messages were focused on oil demand recovery, natural gas outlook which continues to be a positive story, how decarbonization and ESG policies are resurrecting hydrogen, and lastly how petrochemicals is headed towards its own massive disruption due to factors such as the economic collapse, feedstock volatility, and product imbalances.
