May 26, 2018- The 2018 Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce- Asia Society LNG Panel Session was moderated by CEO of ADI Analytics, Uday Turaga. Guest speakers included Chris Rumley from Poten & Partners, Vladimir R. dela Cruz from ConocoPhillips, Nicholas Gole from Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure Group, and Steven Harris from Squire Patton Boggs.
The panel discussed various topics regarding the future of the industry in Asia along with opportunities for Australia. The panel incorporated the speakers’ insights for the 2018 LNG markets, history of LNG demand, which doubled from 2010-2015, changes in regulatory support/framework, technology and innovations for LNG projects, and other issues.
