He explored how the hydrogen fueling industry was maturing. The hydrogen market was transitioning from pilot projects to large-scale commercial operations. This shift was driven by a need for operational success and attractive total cost of ownership (TCO) for fueling stations.
New high-pressure reciprocating compressors were crucial for flexible, cost-effective hydrogen fueling. They were deploying in Europe, the U.S., and potentially Asia, leveraging proven tech and standardization. Diaphragm compressors remained for niche high-pressure uses, and commercialization targeted major station builders and energy firms.
