At the 2023 ADI Forum, Joseph Gentry, VP, Licensing, GTC Vorro, joined moderator Uday Turaga, CEO, ADI Analytics, on the midstream panel. He shared two main facets of the company’s operations: their sulfur service and technology licensing. In their sulfur service, they prioritized cost-effective service delivery by leasing equipment, supplying necessary chemicals and catalysts. They also provided field personnel and service parties for logistics and waste disposal. This comprehensive approach allowed them to identify key operational efficiencies. Notably, they extended the lifespan of their sulfur removal beds. This resulted in fewer equipment changes, reduced flaring, fewer potential leaks, and enhanced safety. Consequently, these measures led to lower operational costs.
The technology licensing division focused on connecting different sectors within the oil & gas industry. A key offering was cost-effective redundancy solutions for refinery sulfur recovery units. These solutions enabled continuous operation and minimized downtime and flaring without the significant capital investment required for duplicate facilities.
